Print is dead project

This project is a way of passing on information without the use of pen ,pencil or ink. This book was made out of corn trash, husk and stem. Each image was created by cutting out the image using a knife or scissors. Glue was then required for placing each cut on a sheet of corn trash that had been ironed out to produce a flat surface, and to secure the image in place. Chinese tracing paper was used to bind each of the pages together.

print is dead

Both of these images are made from dry corn trash ,pampas grass, and dried flowers of the 'autumn' season. If there where no more pens and pencil to create an image, a collage is an image that represents a work of art, the alternative to the use of pen, pencil or paint.

Part of my family

Some of my extended family. The fan tail doves, Teddy the tom cat, canaries Dixie and peach, and Kew the Alexandrian parrot. Love them all.

My prize bunch of grapes

This is third year that I have received a good crop of grapes that made me smile, It's just a shame I haven't learn how to make wine yet. Even the apples had some thing to shine about they were nice, crispy, juicy and sweet.

Ever thought about the food we eat on a daily basis?,or the different seasonings that are added to the dinners by different culture. One thing we can acknowledge is that majority of food that is grown in the ground and on trees are healthy. Organic food can look so appealing to the eye, especially when it has almost come to perfection and is blooming. At this point I can say it makes a pretty picture. During the season I do like to put a few crops out at planting time just to watch the stages of transformation, and the beauty. These are a few of my flowers and crops that were planted in spring. These photo were taken in the mid summer of 2010.

The beauty of spring and summer
